Statement of Faith

Builders Apologetics

We are a Bible-believing community committed to the gospel of the grace of God as revealed in the Scriptures. The following statements summarize the core doctrines we affirm, teach, and defend:

  1. The Scriptures
We believe the sixty-six books of the Holy Bible are the verbally inspired Word of God, inerrant in the original writings, and the final authority in all matters of faith and practice (2 Timothy 3:16–17; 2 Peter 1:20–21; Psalm 119:89). The King James Bible is our sole authority.
  2. The Triune God
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three co-equal Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14).
  3. The Lord Jesus Christ
We believe in the full deity and full humanity of the Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, sinless life, substitutionary death, bodily resurrection, ascension, and imminent return (John 1:1, 14; Colossians 2:9; Isaiah 7:14; Hebrews 4:15; 1 Corinthians 15:3–4; Acts 1:9–11).
  4. The Total Depravity of Man
We believe that all humanity is fallen in Adam, spiritually dead, and incapable of saving themselves apart from the grace of God (Romans 3:10–23; Ephesians 2:1–3).
  5. Salvation by Grace Alone through Faith Alone in Christ Alone
We believe that eternal salvation is the free gift of God, received solely by personal faith in the finished work of Christ on the cross, apart from any human merit, works, or religious ceremony (Ephesians 2:8–9; Titus 3:5; Romans 4:4–5; Galatians 2:16). Good works are the fruit, not the root, of genuine salvation (Ephesians 2:10; James 2:17–18).
  6. Eternal Security
We believe that all who are truly born again are kept secure by the power of God and shall never perish (John 10:28–29; Romans 8:38–39; Philippians 1:6).
  7. The Church
We believe the Church is the Body and Bride of Christ, composed of all who have placed faith in Christ during this present age of grace. We practice the ordinances of believer’s baptism by immersion and the Lord’s Supper as memorials (Ephesians 1:22–23; 1 Corinthians 12:13; Acts 2:41–42; 1 Corinthians 11:23–26).
  8. Dispensational Distinction
We believe God has administered His purpose on earth through distinct stewardships or dispensations, and that the Church is a distinct body with a distinct ministry in this present dispensation of grace (Ephesians 3:2–6; 2 Timothy 2:15).
  9. Future Events
We believe in the pre-tribulational rapture of the Church, the literal seven-year tribulation, the premillennial return of Christ to earth, and His thousand-year reign of righteousness (1 Thessalonians 4:13–18; Revelation 20:1–6).
  10. Separation and Godly Living
We believe all believers are called to a life of separation from worldly and sinful practices and to progressive sanctification by the power of the indwelling Holy Spirit (2 Corinthians 6:14–7:1; Romans 12:1–2; Galatians 5:16).

This statement reflects our unwavering commitment to the pure gospel of grace and the faithful exposition of God’s Word. We stand ready to defend these truths with gentleness and respect (1 Peter 3:15), while extending God’s grace to all who seek Him.

To God alone be the glory!
